Bernie, “Ball of Fluff”, Needs Your Help!Bernie, a Berne doodle, born 1/5/25, has come to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue for adoption. Bernie watched as his siblings, one by one, found their forever homes.However, the breeder could not sell Bernie due to a heart murmur. Our veterinarian has referred Bernie to Blue Pearl, veterinary specialists. She believes that Bernie has a condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) commonly found in small breed dogs. Treatment of this condition in a timely manner can result in an excellent outcome, and a full and healthy life for the dog.Bernie has an appointment with Blue Pearl next week. The estimated cost of this visit will be $1800. He will require a cardiac procedure. We are seeking donations for Bernie’s care. Bernie is happy, playful and a canine “Dennis the Menace”.
