GENERAL CONTRIBUTION
The programs and care of the animals at Angel Ridge Animal Rescue are primarily funded by general contributions. Contributions are accepted, year-round, at our facility at 390 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, PA 15301, or by mail at P.O. Box 94, Meadowlands, PA 15347. Our newsletter, the Angel Pet Gazette, is published periodically throughout the year and is mailed to recent contributors. The Angel Pet Gazette highlights our work and specific needs and generates additional contributions by our
supporters.
CONTRIBUTIONS IN LIEU OF FLOWERS
Many people wish to honor the memory of a loved one who has passed with a gift to ARAR in lieu of flowers at the funeral home. We will send a meaningful card and a listing of the contributions received in memory of the loved one to a designated family member. ln the obituary notice, please list our address as follows:

MATCHING CORPORATE GIFTS
Many businesses have a program in place whereby they will match donations made by their employees to a charity. Many of our supporters were not aware of this resource, a way to double the amount of their contribution to a charity of their choosing. Please visit the appropriate department at your workplace to see if they offer a corporate match.
DONATIONS TO WCCF GIVES
WCCF Gives – a day of giving (typically in September each year), is an opportunity for Angel Ridge Animal Rescue to receive a “match” on donations from a pool of funds assembled by corporations and philanthropists. WCCF happens only one time each year. Contact the ARAR office for more information, or visit www.wccfgives.org.
DONATIONS TO PITTSBURGH MAGAZINE'S GIVE BIG PITTSBURGH PROGRAM
The Give Big Pittsburgh program is typically the last Tuesday in November. ARAR and other local non-profits will be able to raise money in a single online fundraising platform during this 24 hour period’ visit the ARAR page and donate by accessing www giveispittsburgh com
PLEASE HELP...JOIN OUR GATHERING OF GUARDIAN ANGELS
You, dear Angel Ridge Animal Rescue supporters. are the Guardian Angels that help us to provide extraordinary veterinary care to our animals in the greatest need.
We never walk away from a challenge. We continually take in older, sometimes ill, or injured animals, and get them the veterinary help that they need. We help them to heal in body and in spirit. We find incredible homes for them.
By becoming a Guardian Angel to these deserving souls, you help them to heal and have a chance at a new and better life. The donation for this program is $200 annually or $50 quarterly.
ANGEL TREE OF HOPE (IN MEMORY OF...)
A wonderful way to honor or remember a loved one is through a contribution in their name to Angel Tree of Hope. The one being remembered or honored can be a person or a pet. A card is sent to the one being remembered or family. A heart with the name of the one being remembered is added to our “Angel Tree” on the wall of our adoption office.

PLANNED GIVING
Remembering ARAR in your estate planning will enable you to help our precious animals in need for years to come. You may specify a particular program that you would like to help, such as emergency veterinary care or kennel repairs and maintenance, or you may direct us to apply the contribution to our greatest needs at that particular time. There are several ways to participate in planned giving.
- A bequest in your will or your Living Trust
- As a beneficiary designation in your life insurance or investment portfolio
- Retirement Accounts
- Gifts of Stocks, Mutual Funds or other lnvestments
There are tax benefits to you through many of these Planned Giving options, and you may have the right, during your lifetime, to make a change to your planning. If you have any questions about Planned Giving to ARAR, please phone or email our office and someone will respond to you. lt will be necessary
to include a legal or tax/financial advisor in this process.
UNITED WAY
The United Way organizations are administered separately in each county. If you are considering a donation to the United Way, either on your own or through your employer, you can designate Angel Ridge Animal Rescue to be the beneficiary of that donation. Simply write our name and physical address on the beneficiary line:
