From time to time, we shelter horses in our horse barn who are in need of a home. These horses may have been seized from an abusive or hoarding situation or may have been surrendered by someone who can no longer care for them.

Persons interested in adopting a horse from ARAR should have equine experience and be able to provide adequate food, shelter, and veterinary care for the horse for the remainder of his or her life.

To check on the status of horse available for adoption, or to obtain additional information about horse adoption, contact Nancy Shannon at .
