Zeke's First Birthday
On June 14, 2008, baby Zeke entered our world. He was the foal of rescue draft mare, Camael. Zeke was a surprise to everyone. He was born in a corner of the pasture and walked with his mom to her feed bucket at dinner time. A vet check revealed that Zeke was one healthy little guy.
We call Zeke our "bonus baby". He was totally unexpected, but so happy and healthy, and he is the pride and joy of Angel Ridge Animal Rescue. On Sunday, June 14, volunteers and boarders at the barn, accompanied with our dogs and horses, sang "Happy Birthday" to Zeke and shared his delicious cake. Zeke treated all of his horse buddies to carrots, and horse, Conner, enjoyed a piece of his cake, too.
Zeke loves attention, and was in his glory at this gala event. He blew out his birthday candle and we guess that his wish was for a forever home. Zeke is available for adoption. Thanks to everyone that has made this a wonderful year for Zeke.
