Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is assisting in the placement of about 40 cats that were being cared for by a Washington, PA woman who passed away.

Since Thanksgiving of 2007, we have provided cat food and litter, on a weekly basis, to a handicapped and wheelchair bound woman who was caring for about 40 cats in her home. The cats were well cared for and received veterinary care. This kind lady passed away right before Labor Day of this year. We, and the Washington Area Humane Society, are working toward the placement of these cats. All cats being adopted will be vet checked, spayed or neutered if not already done, and will be up to date with vaccinations. We are asking for an adoption fee of $50 to cover costs.
