This is Okee! When she was found, she was skinny, covered in filth, ticks, fleas, and mud. She was sad, shaking & pregnant! Not to mention, she was at a dumpster, with cars flying by her. Not giving a glace at this sweet girl, begging for a chance.
Okee has had quite the journey these past few months. First she stayed with me, ( we were all full...and i had an open room) With me, she was a great dog. Had a little aggression around the animals, but was such a pleaser, all was corrected witha few days of training, and a stern voice.
Then she went to another foster home, where she had the puppies, and they were raised. She had to be moved then, because apparently she barked, (she is an active dog in a kennel, yes she barks when she is bored) the neighbors were threatening to shoot her, or poisen her if she wasn't gone.
Thats when Cinde Taylor, (project paws treasurer) fostered her. She has worked with Okee on sitting, laying down, kennel training, and any sm. animal aggression. Okee is a great, sweet, smart, **Perfect*** dog.
This dog has been abandoned, moved around, and overlooked countless times. Yet, still, she is the sweetiest, most loving dog! I would LOVE to have her.... She is smart, Obedient, LOVES to cuddle, walks great on a leash, doesn't dig, knows when to be calm, when to be happy, and when to be sad! She is AMAZING! She likes kids, and all people! She has shown aggression with other animals, (mostly other dominant animals) At MY house, she was fine...but i watched her continuously, and kept a stern tone at even the slightest "look".
She needs a place to go. Home, Rescue, ETC. Somewhere will she will not be overlooked, neglected, or ever abandoned!
